以前の製品名「AI Agent」は「最新のAI用語でカッコいい」と思ってそうしていたわけなんだけど、一般の人にとって「エージェント」は「転職エージェントとかのこと？」となっちゃったりとか、わかりにくい言葉だったなと反省したのが製品名変更の理由です。

この製品は、コンピュータ制御のアバター（＝ ボット）を、AI によってパワーアップするためのツール（＝ マネージャー）となります。その内容をそのまま言葉にしたのが、「AI × Bot Manager」 となるわけです！

We've renamed the product to "AI × Bot Manager"!

I originally named it "AI Agent" because I thought it sounded cool — it was the newest AI buzzword. But to most people "agent" doesn't really say anything (in Japan some even ask, "you mean like a recruitment agency?"). Looking back, it just wasn't a clear word, and that's why I renamed the product.

What this product does is take a computer-controlled avatar — a bot — and power it up with AI: a manager for your bots. Putting exactly that into words gives you "AI × Bot Manager"!

Here is what AI × Bot Manager (Shop Clerk Edition) can do.

- It isn't a HUD. The server drives your alt directly, so what you get is a real clerk. No scripts to set up.
- It works 24/7 and replies in whatever language the visitor speaks to it in.
- Arrivals and customer requests are reported to you by IM and email.
- Fill in your shop info in detail and it answers your customers' questions accurately.

用途は店員としての接客限定ながら、以前の AI コンパニオンがHUDでアバターに機能追加するものであったのに対して、今回はビューワーを使わず、サーバーがアバターを直接駆動するものとなっています。
なので、リアルさがまったく違います！
アバターは、HUD の疑似 IM ではなく、通常の IMを通して来店客とやり取りします。IM を通じたコマンドで、アバターをさまざまに動かすことも可能です。

We've released our new product — "AI Agents - Shop Clerk Edition"!

It's built for one job: greeting and helping customers as a shop clerk.
But where the earlier AI Companions added features to your avatar through a HUD, this one uses no viewer at all — the server drives the avatar directly.
