Have been thinking about how important books and stories are going to be when pupils return to school, so here's a short thread with a few recommendations. Feel free to add more.
Some picturebooks that can lead to really thoughtful discussions.
For a lot of children, the classroom is their only source of access to books. They don't go to the local library. They don't go to bookshops or get bought books as gifts. That's why the books that schools have on their shelves need to reflect their pupils and the lives they lead.
