@russell_writes Exactly! I firmly believe that Richie is at least bi in the book, but it feels so weird to drop Eddie’s sexuality. Especially considering how the miniseries attempted to be explicit but were censored. Maybe they felt they could only have 1/7 gay losers

To me, Eddie mirrors Adrian Melon in a lot of ways (they both have asthma for one) so Eddie’s death would be even more poignant if he was confirmed gay. “It” may be dead but homophobia persists.
