A minor boy in Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, was allegedly sexually abused after reportedly being taken to a hotel by four young boys—three from Baseen and one from Hunza. According to police, the child had gone missing while heading to pick up his younger brother from school and was later traced through Safe City cameras.

The boy was reportedly recovered from the hotel, where he allegedly told authorities that he had been sexually abused over the previous day. The case has renewed concerns about child safety and sexual abuse in Gilgit-Baltistan, particularly amid other cases that have raised questions about accountability and justice.

The Raja Kashan case also remains part of this wider conversation. Raja Kashan, an 18-year-old first-year student from Yasin, went missing in Gilgit in 2025. Two suspects were reportedly arrested, while police investigated allegations of sexual assault alongside competing accounts surrounding his death.

With another alleged case now involving a minor in Hunza, these incidents are prompting renewed questions about the safety of young people in Gilgit-Baltistan, the effectiveness of investigations and whether victims and their families can receive timely justice.

The allegations in the Hunza case remain subject to investigation and due legal process.
