ዛሬ ለከተማችን ነዋሪዎአች አዲስ ድንቅ ሌላ ስጦታ የሆነውን "የእንጦጦ - ቀበና የወንዝና የወንዝ ዳርቻ ልማት" እና የቀበና ግድብ ፕሮጀክት ክቡር ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ(ዶ/ር) መርቀዉልን ለአገልግሎት ክፍት አድርገናል።

ይህ ግዙፍ ፕሮጀክት በታለመለት የጊዜ እና የጥራት ደረጃ እንዲጠናቀቅ ሌት ከቀን የደከማችሁ ፣ የታተራችሁ ፣ያስተባበራችሁና የደገፋችሁ በየደረጃው የምትገኙ አመራሮች፣ እንዲሁም ለመላው የአካባቢው ማህበረሰብ በከተማ አስተዳደሩ እና በራሴ ስም ላቅ ያለ ምስጋናዬን አቀርባለሁ።

ስዊዘርላንድ በኢትዮጵያውያን ላይ ተጥሎ የነበረውን የቪዛ ገደብ አነሳች

ስዊዘርላንድ ለሁለት ዓመታት ያህል በኢትዮጵያውያን ዜጎች ላይ ተግባራዊ ሆኖ የቆየውን የSchengen ቪዛ ገደብ ሙሉ በሙሉ ማንሳቷን አስታውቃለች።

ውሳኔው የተላለፈው የአውሮፓ ህብረት ምክር ቤት በቅርቡ በኢትዮጵያ ላይ ተጥለው የነበሩትን የቪዛ ገደቦች ለማንሳት ከወሰነ በኋላ ሲሆን፣ ስዊዘርላንድም የSchengen ቀጠና አባል ሀገር እንደመሆኗ ውሳኔውን በመደገፍ መደበኛውን የቪዛ አገልግሎት ወደ ቀድሞ ሁኔታው መልሳለች።

ከዚህ ቀደም የተጣሉት ገደቦች ዋነኛ ምክንያት በአውሮፓ ሀገራት ያለ ሕጋዊ ፈቃድ የሚኖሩ ኢትዮጵያውያንን መልሶ ለመቀበል ከኢትዮጵያ በኩል የነበረው የትብብር ውስንነት እንደነበር ይታወሳል። ሆኖም በቅርብ ጊዜ በሁለቱ ወገኖች መካከል የተሻለ ትብብር መፈጠሩን ተከትሎ ገደቦቹ እንዲነሱ ተወስኗል።

በአዲሱ ውሳኔ መሠረት የቪዛ ማመልከቻዎች በመደበኛው 15 ቀናት ውስጥ ውሳኔ የሚያገኙ ሲሆን፣ ከአንድ ጊዜ በላይ መግባት የሚያስችሉ የMultiple Entry ቪዛዎችም እንደገና መሰጠት ተጀምሯል። እንዲሁም ለዲፕሎማቲክና ለአገልግሎት ፓስፖርት ባለቤቶች የቪዛ ክፍያ ነፃ ተደርጓል።

ይሁን እንጂ ይህ ውሳኔ ለኢትዮጵያውያን ከቪዛ ነፃ ጉዞ የሚፈቅድ አይደለም፤ ወደ ስዊዘርላንድ እና ሌሎች የSchengen ሀገራት ለመጓዝ የቪዛ ግዴታው እንደቀጠለ ነው። የተነሱት ግን ከ2024 ጀምሮ ተግባራዊ የነበሩት ተጨማሪ ገደቦች ናቸው።

ላፍቶ ላይ ታሪክ ተሰርቷል

ብዙ መንግስታት ምርጫ ሲደርስ የሚሰሩትንም የማይሰሩትንም ቃል ይገባሉ። ይሄ መንግስት ግን ምርጫው ቀናት ሲቀረው ያገባደዳቸውን ግዙፍ ፕሮጀክቶች ማስመረቅ ነው የጀመረው።

ከነዚህ ውስጥ በግሌ መጀመሩን እንኳን ሰምቼው የማላውቀው አዲስ የተመረቀው የላፍቶ ሆስፒታል በቀላሉ የሚታይ ሆኖ አልተሰማኝም። ይህ ግዙፍ ሆስፒታል ሆስፒታል ብቻ ሳይሆን የኢትዮጵያን ህክምና አንድ ደረጃ ወደፊት ያስኬደ ታላቅ ቅርስ ነው።

በቀን ብዙ ሺ ተመላላሽ ህሙማንን ማስተናገድ መቻሉ ብቻ ሳይሆን 17 ዘመናዊ ህንፃዎችን ይዞ 500 ህሙማን ተኝተው መታከም መቻላቸው አስገራሚ ያደርገዋል።
ከሁሉም ሆስፒታሉን ልዩ የሚያደርገው ግን ግዝፈቱና ብዙ ህሙማንን ማስተናገዱ ብቻ ሳይሆን በምስራቅ አፍሪካ ለመጀመሪያ ግዜ በ (AI) አርቴፊሻል ኢንተለጀንስ የተደገፈ ህክምና ለመስጠት መዘገጀቱና የአለማችንን የመጨረሻ ደረጃ የህክምና መሳሪያዎች መታጠቁ ነው። በተለይ ብዙ ኢትዮጵያዊ የሚሰቃይባቸውና ውጪ ሄዶ ለመታከም መከራውን የሚያይባቸው ልብና ካንሰር የመሳሰሉ ህመሞችን ለመመርመርና ለማከም የተሰሩ ጥቂት ሐገራት ብቻ የሚገኙ ዘመናዊ መሳሪያዎች ሆስፒታሉ እንዲያሟላ ተደርጓል። (ልብ አንድ ጊዜ መትታ ሳትጨርስ ሙሉ ምርመራ ማድረግ የሚችል ፈጣን የምርመራ ቴክኖሎጂ ሁሉ ይዟል)

በዚህም ምክኒያት ከብዙ እንግልት ጋር ከፍተኛ የውጪ ምንዛሬ በመጨፍጨፍ ወደውጪ ሐገራት የሚሄዱ ህመምተኞች በሐገራቸው ቤተሰቦቻቸው መሃል ሆነው ሙሉ ህክምና እንዲያገኙ ማድረግ ያስችላል። ይሄ ዝም ብሎ የሚታለፍ ተራ ፕሮጀክት አይደለም። ይሄ ታሪክ ነው። ይሄ የኢትዮጵያ መንግስት ካከናወናቸው ግዙፍ ፕሮጀክቶች አንዱ ተብሎ ሊመደብ የሚችል ታላቅ ገድል ነው። ለልጅ ልጅ የሚተላለፍ ድንቅ ስራ ነው።

We, Ethiopians, Achieved Centuries-Old Dreams
Today, we are on the eve of the inauguration of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) that marks the realization of a vision held by generations of Ethiopians. For centuries, the people of Ethiopia have dreamed of harnessing the power of the Abbay (Blue Nile) to fuel national development, energize transformation and improve livelihoods. This monumental project, finally coming to fruition, symbolizes our national pride and sovereignty. It is a testament to Ethiopia’s determination to utilize its natural resources responsibly and equitably for the benefit of its citizens and the broader region.

We Have Not Achieved This Result Overnight but Overcome Numerous Odds!
The journey to this moment has been long and challenging. Ethiopia faced international skepticism, economic constraints, and geopolitical pressures from various quarters. Technical challenges, security concerns, and complex negotiations with downstream countries added layers of complexity. Despite all these obstacles, our steadfast commitment, resilience, and innovative spirit enabled the country to progress forward and reach this historic milestone.

The GERD stands not only as an engineering marvel but as a symbol of overcoming adversity through perseverance.
As we have been all along saying, it is built with Ethiopian sweat and blood to benefit not only #Ethiopia, but also the people of African in the region to access clean energy including multiple benefits to immediate downstream countries.
Congratulations to All Fellow Ethiopians who made this possible and those friends of Ethiopia and Africa’s development for enduring support.
