taking care of yourself isn’t all rainbows and glitter, it’s hard to detach yourself from toxic habits/people, it’s hard to dedicate yourself to your own wellbeing, even harder doing it without sounding selfish to the people who need your constant support.
put yourself first.
we are raised to think that there’s always two options and one of them has to be wrong, but what if we disagree with these options ?
what i’m trying to say is we don’t have to choose, choosing isn’t always a sign of freedom especially not when the options are limited.
people can be easily manipulated by the way you ask them a question, if you’re objective you’re less likely to get the answer you want but if you’re implying what the right answer is ppl are more likely to follow your lead and say what you want them to say
we have a weird habit of trying to seem right and intelligent to other ppl by giving them what they want, so that they can give us a tap on our shoulder and tell us we did a good job, but we forget our values doing so... we become copy A instead of a product in the making
