One of the most brutal scenes in human history has been exposed.
Israeli soldiers opened fire on thousands of starving Gazans as they ran in desperation for a piece of food during the war on Gaza.
A moment the world must never forget.
Gaza tonight.
When the skies are lit with terror. Never forget the “civilized nations” that claim to be “peacemakers” governed by “international law” that manufactured this genocide.
Shame.
Most of the #medicalcolleges in #Pakistan don't train #MedicalStudents for how to;
• Counsel a patient
• Console a crying patient
• Comfort an anxious patient
• Resolve a conflict in health setting
• Approach relatives of a dying patient
• Communicate treatment options
The month of Quran is upon us, and I wanted to reshare a personal story about what it means to exert yourself with it in Ramadan.
In 2006, I told my mom (may Allah have mercy on her) that my Shaykh challenged his students to elevate their Ramadan Quran goals and read significantly more than they had in previous years. She told me that she also intended to take it to the next level that year and would join in. By the end of Ramadan, the Shaykh had finished 8 readings (2 of which were in Qiyam), and I barely got past 2. My mom on the other hand would read half the Quran a day finishing 14 complete khatms in 29 days. I saw her push herself that year like never before and thought this was the type of Ramadan you only read about in the books of history. She busied herself with the Quran seemingly every minute even as she moved between other daily tasks.
It turned out that would be her last Ramadan, and what a Ramadan to meet her Lord with.
Now obviously different people have different circumstances. Some have larger workloads they still need to maintain, some have language barriers, some have burdensome family duties. Just know that Allah is most Kind, and will reward your sincere efforts according to your circumstances. But all of us could do better by elevating our Quran goals this Ramadan in our homes. Ramadan is the month of Quran, and the Quran is what we nourish our hearts and souls with as we remain physically restrained.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The Qur'an will come on the day of judgement in the form of a bright man and say, "I am the one who kept you up at night, and thirsty throughout the day." (Ibn Majah)
May Allah make us amongst the people of Quran, now and forever. May the Quran be the spring of our hearts, the light of our chests, and the reliever of our distress. Ameen
It's very sad to see what the authorities in Pakistan are doing to @ImranKhanPTI.
No one is perfect, but I feel his heart is with his people & he wants to see the betterment of his country, in contrast to those who want to get rich via politics.
I pray Allah protects the sincere!
Therapists need to have a long experience in personal therapy to see what it's like to be on the other side of the couch and see what they find helpful or not helpful.

Psychosocial Support is essential for medical care. It reflects poorly on health professionals to;
Operate on a patient and not inquire about its emotional impact
Treat Diabetes and not talk about stress in life
Deliver a baby and dismiss its potential mental burden on parents
