Hard n8n lesson from last week:
Never assume an API returns data in the same format every time.
My test worked 7 times in a row. The 8th time, one field was null and the whole workflow broke. I spent 40 minutes debugging before finding the missing null handling.

Lesson after breaking 3 n8n workflows in production: Add error alerts before you build anything else. Not after. If your automation breaks at 2am, you want to find out first. Not your client. 10 minutes of work saves hours of apologizing later.
