During my stay in London, I met many Malaysians who are either studying, working or living here. I explained to them the problem faced in Malaysia, where the Malays have now lost not only their economic performance but also they have lost their political power. They are now a minority party in the government. This may result in many serious problems for the Malays.

Because most of these students are studying in foreign countries, they were given scholarships to study although some of them did not fully qualify, but because the government was sympathetic towards them. But now that sympathy is no longer there. And again we hear about meritocracy. In meritocracy it is most likely that very few Malay students would get a scholarship. But not only scholarship, even in small businesses they may not be able to compete with the non-Malays. So these are the things that I explained to them.

4. Don't underestimate the power of social media especially the right platform.

Some thoughts post-#GE15

1. Having allies are important. Multi-coalition, multi-party democracies = making friends in high places. No point having lots of seara when no one likes you.

2. It is important to talk the right lingo. Grassroots speak = more support. Look at PAS.
