@OilySmudges Not very good at this but it’s a Honda sports bike from my youth 😖- can’t say exactly which one without cheating and comparing image searches online!

@mototingle Sorry to hear and from your posts we know he meant the world to you. The loss of a beloved friend is always hard but Tennyson had it right when he wrote ‘Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved it all’. Remember the good times and the joy he brought. RIP Hero.
@mototingle I don’t get a) why the immobiliser emulators are legal to be sold, b) why the ECU and the dash / key reader can’t use proper encryption keys (public/private keys with PFS session keys) that would just stop all of this stone dead. For immobiliser reprog this should be dealer only

@OilySmudges Evening - at last one I recognise!! - that’s a 1993 colour way of a Honda CBR900RR. I had a 1996 purple/yellow/black one. Loved that bike!
@mototingle@GaryMoore27@TaynaBatteries Guess that fuel pump was in storage a while even though it’s a pattern part. Bummer about the carbs but quite sure it will be worth it in the end. Nice to see Hero at the end still bright and wanting in on what his dad’s up to!
@guzzicraig That wasn’t luck but good planning - you never know when it’s going to ‘come in useful one day’ 😂. I’m going to have to do the packing strips route 😖
@Thehullboy1 That was a hard run today - I’ve cycled that route a good few times as I used to work down that way and if the weather was nice in the summer used to cycle.
It gets hillier from here but the scenery goes up a notch or too - keep going!
@AutoPap What a fantastic prize - I hope she has a lot of fun on it. I had a ‘blade in that exact colourway - it’s a lovely bike to ride and remarkably forgiving. Loved that bike and really regret selling it!
@ginostravels The Sma Glenn and the road on to Aberfeldy is superb. It’s a nice lunchtime ride or if you have a bit more time the loop round via Killin Lochearnhead and back into Crieff past St Fillans is a gem. Plenty of options for a cafe/cake/pub along that route too!
