If the Crown Estate etc. is to charge the taxpayer commercial rates for the use of its assets then it is only fair that they pay commercial rates of tax. If they’re going to be allowed to avoid the tax, then the leases should be at zero cost too. It can’t be both. #dispatches

Genuine question. Why should I care about landlords, private schools and multi millionaires?

They are starting to be gentlely squeezed to start paying their way, and they are having the biggest tantrums I've seen.

They should try universal credit if they genuinely feel hard.
