The Rockefeller Center tree has been a tradition since 1931, starting in 2007 they took the tree, used it for lumber and build houses for those in need. Students utilized this amazing book to build a tree, used the tree for lumber to build a house. @ShongumElem #randolphschools

Every year I choose a costume of a book character for Halloween. This year I’m “If you give a mouse a cookie” or what my students think I am which is “A BOOKIE COOKIE” cause I refer to our return bin for books as that 😂🐭🍪📚 #randolphschools #Halloween @ShongumElem

Has anyone ever cried at a book because you relate so much to it?! I do it quite often tbh. 🙈 I ordered this book, not expecting to feel such an emotional connection but I did. It helped show me what I can be and might already be to my students. ♥️ @ShongumElem #randolphschools

One of my favorite books to read with my students is “The Fantastic Flying Books or Mr. Morris Lessmore”, I even have a tattoo for the book as it has helped me understand and grow in my job. Today, I decorated the door in the theme of this book 📚♥️ #randolphschools @ShongumElem
