It’s actually really scary the racism that Haitians are facing in DR rn. We share an island I just feel like we should be strong allies.

As a Haitian-American, the most explicit discrimination I’ve ever faced has been in the #DominicanRepublic. My home in #Haiti is 45 minutes from the DR but I stopped visiting b/c of the anxiety I felt after every visit. It’s not every Dominican but enough to be a serious problem.
