We are devastated to learn about the loss of Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst. She was one of the brightest, warmest, and most kind people we have ever had the privilege of knowing. Our entire community mourns her loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with her family right now.
Waking up to learn that Trump had lost and Biden had won is a feeling I will most likely remember for the rest of my life. Mainly relief mixed with joy but also hope. Hope for a better America. Hope for the future. Something I have rarely felt since November 2016. 💙🇺🇸
One reason things seems so bleak is that there is so little accountability. Crash the economy? Bonuses and bailouts. Kill a jogger? Walk free for weeks. Botch a pandemic? It’s politics. Kill a man arrested for a nonviolent crime? People are fed up.
Haven’t tweeted since 2018 and I’m just here to say... @Twitter I AM STILL SO MAD AT YOU FOR TAKING VINE AWAY. Everything has been garbage since 2016. AnD iTs YoUr FaUlT.
Congratulations Miss South Africa, the new Miss Universe @zozitunzi! Agree with you...leadership is the most powerful thing we should be teaching young women today. We welcome your visit to #OWLAG, our Leadership Academy for Girls 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Tonight a door was opened and I could not be more grateful to have been the one to have walked through it.
May every little girl who witnessed this moment forever believe in the power of her dreams and may they see their faces reflected in mine.
I am #MissUniverse2019.
