When those who swear to protect your nation fail it’s inspirational to see @Cristiano join his agent #JorgeMendes step up to the plate. Mendes's goal of donating 50 000 masks, ventilators and funding #medicalsupplies for hospitals in Portugal 🇵🇹 to fight COVID-19's impact 🙏🏾

None of us like being told what to do. But we need to listen to the hard facts presented to us by #WHO Whether you’re young or old in order to sustain our #NHS and #HealthcareHeroes who just can’t cope with the #CoronaCrisis #solidarity in #selfisolating

Briefed @iccwbo's Executive Board on the #COVID19 today. Employers have a critical role in fighting #coronavirus, protecting staffs & customers, ensuring supplies of equipment for #healthworkers, accelerating R&D & more. Thank you @PaulPolman, Ajay Banga & @iccsecgen. Solidarity!

We couldn’t agree #Brexit United Kingdom, but we are now truly united by #coviduk #COVID19 UK govt can’t fight this alone we’ll need to pull together, to put prejudices aside no matter how different we think we are in the face of a pandemic our differences are irrelevant

[Faisal Islam @faisalislam]

German and Italy are ramping up production of medical ventilators to meet expected peak epidemic demand. They cost $17k each. Italy getting army involved in helping production line...

As far as I’m aware UK has one small manufacturer of ventilators - that had 40% market share.

[melaninjournals @melaninjournals]

Thanking all #HealthWorkers I am inspired by your commitment to looking after others. #realheros #NHSThankYou

[Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus @DrTedros]

@YoloAkili The ones who aren’t calm are the ones panicking and panic buying leaving those who are adopting a calm attitude, without basic food provisions, medicines and toiletries which leads to anxiety and panic. Vicious circle

[melaninjournals @melaninjournals]

@im_liquid Greedy and selfish exploitation unfortunately there are many like him.

[melaninjournals @melaninjournals]

Also people in mental health institutions what measures are being taken?

[melaninjournals @melaninjournals]

Due to the lack of preparedness by those responsible for the well being of the community. I no longer have confidence in the government advice. I will do my part in the fight against #COVID19. I urge you to do the same! https://t.co/fJsjEvTmSY #StayTheFuckHome #CommunityResponse

[melaninjournals @melaninjournals]

Communities, charities, local leaders better unite via social media to mobilise a strategic network so that we can support each other. It’s clear that our #world leaders they have failed miserably to protect the health of all nations #coronavirus #COVIDー19 #CommunityResponse
