Join @TheACPRC tonight at 8pm for the Paediatric Tweetchat ...talking all things paediatric oncalls/ the acutely deteriorating child. #paeds@TheAPCP@ApcpResp
@ApcpResp Yes along with some data on how many admissions they had, how many could of been avoided and parent feedback of how awful it is to go to a children’s unit / a&e #consensustoaction
@ApcpResp@laurenferns92 I think admission avoidance is definitely a good place to start, its good to have projections in your business case as this is likely to pay for itself and be cheaper in the long run #consensustoaction
@maddiephysio@ApcpResp#consensustoaction I worked for a rapid response service for a while - it was nurse led and they got their funding from A&E screening and cost savings from admission avoidance
@ApcpResp I have suggested screening the CP population as part of CPIPS, just adding the screening questions - this will obviously only cover a small amount of the population but yes my colleagues could screen their kids 👍
