mental health isn’t always packaged in a pretty way. it’s not just a phrase to throw around either. this shit is real. episodes and breaks are real and people need help. calling people crazy for showcasing anything outside of something pretty, isn’t it. people need help.
I think it’s amazing that poc (minus chicken little LMFAO) are getting to tell their stories and I think it’s telling that these stories with very real themes are boiled down to “family good”to u :/ y’all will gobble up a yt savior story tho🤨 not saying they r perfect but still

Why do all these rich rappers think their contribution should be financial literacy? Is that how you made your millions? Black and poor people aren’t inherently bad with money. There’s not a literacy issue, there’s a pay gap issue. PAY people a livable wage.
My little cousin asked a Jamaican related question the other day and the Jamaican adults were teasing her for not knowing and I said "that's literally y'all job to teach her and keep the culture alive. Her not knowing means you failed her"
It was QUIET 😭😭😭

When you’re out shopping, it’s getting too hot, your bra straps slipping down, your bag wont stay on your shoulder, there’s queues everywhere, the shop has music blasting like it’s a club, and you ask me my email address for a receipt, please know that is my final straw.
