If someone is beat over the head 21 times with a hammer until dead… at her lunch table, there is no way on earth that can be mistaken for a fall or accident. I’m so fed up of misinformation & gaslighting.
L’horreur frappe Biarritz.
Les soupçons de viol et d’agressions sexuelles sur des enfants au centre de loisirs Mouriscot bouleversent notre ville.
Nos pensées vont aux enfants et à leurs familles.
La protection de nos enfants doit être la priorité absolue de notre société.
People just need to accept the obvious fact that a man believing he’s a woman is always, without exception, weird, unstable, dangerous and indicates deeper perversions. It’s never innocent, it’s never about authenticity, it’s never understandable. It means something is deeply wrong and will always lead to other deeply wrong things. It is not nuanced.
Curious is it not that the Liz Truss government fell when 10 Year Gilts went above 4%.
Yet the same yield on these 10 Year Gilts is currently 5.049% and rising.
So why is it that Truss gets the boot over a much lower rate while Labour sail onwards with a much higher rate?🤔
The White House have issued a statement that they are "deeply concerned" about the appointment of Ed Miliband to the post of Foreign Secretary.
A sentiment shared by the vast majority of the British people.
This nut zero zealot should be nowhere near power.
This really has Soviet levels of deceit…
Debt is rising, industry is closing down due to crippling energy costs, the housing targets are miles away and the border is still open to unsolicited invasion. Failed.
Do I have any sympathy for Rachel Reeves? After what she knowingly inflicted on millions of farmers, small business owners, hard working British men and women?
No. I have no sympathy, whatsoever. Zero.
She is responsible for so much unnecessary pain. The embarrassment she is feeling today doesn’t even scratch the surface of the shame and hardship millions of Brits have endured directly because of her incompetence.
Bankrupt businesses, livelihoods destroyed, so many sleepless nights, laying off decent colleagues, family companies closed after decades in business? Directly thanks to Rachel Reeves.
She’s not fit to be a parish councillor, never mind chancellor.
Her talents would be better suited to mindless admin in a dead-end HR department.
Too many times I have sat in the chamber listening to her talk ‘business’, and it is genuinely terrifying that she was ever in charge of our economy. I couldn't care less that she's a woman or that she cried in Parliament.
She is incompetent.
What a sorry judgement Rachel Reeves is on British politics in 2026.
I look forward to the day when individuals of her talent find their correct level in a genuinely capitalist society - cleaning other people’s shoes.
What I would give for a Chancellor with actual business experience - employed people, built businesses, generated opportunities. Done something.
That is exactly who a Restore Britain Government will deliver.
📣🚨 BRIDGET PHILLIPSON SACKED AS EDUCATION SECRETARY.
Andy Burnham has sacked Bridget Phillipson as Education Secretary.
One of Phillipson’s first acts after taking office in 2024 was to pause the implementation of the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act 2023 (HEFSA), which had been passed by the previous government.
The Free Speech Union threatened Ms Phillipson with a judicial review and successfully forced a U-turn.
HEFSA is a vital piece of legislation that places a statutory duty on universities to protect and promote free speech on campus. Thanks to the former Education Secretary’s dither and delay, universities were able to ignore those responsibilities with impunity.
Although Phillipson finally announced in April that a complaints scheme would be introduced for academics, university staff and visiting speakers, students — unlike under the original legislation — will not have access to it.
It has also been revealed that Bridget Phillipson spent more than £500,000 of taxpayers’ money trying to water down vital free speech protections on university campuses.
Removing Dan Jarvis to find a spot for Wes Streeting shows a contempt for Defence at a time they need continuity and someone who understands the new way of warfare and the men and women of the armed forces. @DefenceHQ@haynesdeborah@larisamlbrown
I watched Burnham’s speech and much of it was emotive mush.
How do you reindustrialise Britain when no major company will invest here because we have punitive taxes and the highest energy prices in the advanced world?
Socialism repels capitalists with money to invest.
I am no fan of Refom but every time the @timespolitics@guardian mentions Geroge Cottrell the prefix it with “convicted criminal.”. They must prefix Louie Haigh then with “convicted fraudster.” Not to do so is to show disdain for professional journalism.
The state of the bond markets after PM Burnham spoke. 👇
Much much worse than during Liz Truss’s short stint in Number 10.
Where are the hysterics and calls for him to go?
Burnham will fail because he has misdiagnosed Britain’s problems, and he is prescribing socialism to treat them. Socialism doesn’t work even when the problems are correctly identified.
Hello tribe, I'm Steven Spielberg, and today, alongside Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider, we are celebrating the birthday of Harrison Ford—who is also Jewish. We wish him a big Mazel Tov, with blessings, and may he live to 120! We love you all. We are Am Yisrael Chai, and we are proud Jews standing on the right side of history. ✡️🥳
"If Jeremy Corbyn died, I’d say, 'Well, I didn't agree with him, but the man believed in what he believed in and fought for it for decades.' So there is a very big difference here."
