Job didn’t get his old life back… he got a new one. God didn’t just restore what he lost He rewrote the ending and gave him more than before.
Some pain won’t be explained, but it will be redeemed. Stop thinking you have to settle for “less” just because you went through “more.” If it’s not better than your first portion, don’t accept it because it’s not from God.
God said He’ll give you double for your trouble. He’ll restore seven times more. He’ll do exceedingly, abundantly more than you can ask or think.
So when God removes people… removes things… removes comfort…
Don’t panic.
Expect more.
Let’s pray:
Heavenly Father, with a thankful heart we rise to meet You in prayer this Wednesday morning, giving You glory, honor, and praise for the many blessings You’ve already given us this week. We ask that You help us speak kindly and show Your love to everyone we meet throughout the day. Help us set aside our concerns about what’s happening in the world and enjoy the day You have planned for us. Today, I pray for those losing hope because their plans haven’t materialized as they expected. Let them know that Your plans for our lives are always much better than anything we can envision and are worth the wait. Help us follow the Holy Spirit today as He leads us closer to Jesus and a life filled with love and peace. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
I never really understood what God meant in Ecclesiastes 3:1 when He said, “To everything there is a season…” Because I used to think hard seasons meant I was doing something wrong. I didn’t understand why friendships faded, relationships hurt so badly, or why life felt heavy even when I was trying my best. I kept wanting every season to feel good, stable, and make sense.
But the older I get, the more I realize not every season is meant to be comfortable. Some stretch you, humble you, heal you, and teach you who and what truly matters. There are seasons where you feel lost, outgrow people, and cry more than you’d like. But there are also seasons where you find peace, start choosing yourself, and God rebuilds what life tried to break.
I think that’s what the verse really means. Life won’t always feel the same. People won’t always stay. Things won’t always go according to plan. But every season has a purpose, even the painful ones. So if you’re in a hard season right now, don’t assume your life is falling apart. Some seasons are meant to grow you into the person you’ve been praying to become. 🤍
There is power in the tongue. STOP saying you're tired, you're broke, you're depressed, etc. and START saying you're grateful, start manifesting multiple streams of income, and start thanking God for that peace of mind. STOP mimicking what people tell you about God and get to know Him for yourself. I'm telling you that Man is a Way Maker, and if He did it for me, ain't no telling what He'll do for you. I’m not perfect by any means, but I'm definitely not the person I was a few months ago. Speak nothing but life into your life.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we rise to meet You in prayer this Saturday morning with a thankful heart. Thank You for Your steadfast love and wondrous works. You satisfy the longing in our soul and fill it with good things. Today, I pray for Your blessings and favor on the people struggling through extremely challenging times in their lives and needing the Holy Spirit’s assistance for the direction they should take. Grant them the guidance they seek as they face this situation. Let them know You are directing their steps and providing the leading they need. Bless them with hope, strength, and peace today as the Holy Spirit leads their way. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
I keep seeing people say, “Read Psalms 91 and watch how things shift.” I’m not gonna lie, I thought it was just one of those things people say. Then I actually sat down and read it for myself. It’s not just a verse it’s a covering! “A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand… but it will not come near you.” That’s not just poetry. That’s protection.
Life gets loud. Things happen around you. Situations look scary, uncertain, even overwhelming. Once you really read it, you realize you’re more protected than you’ve been acting. Fear gets quieter. Anxiety doesn’t hit the same. You move differently not because nothing is happening, but because you know you’re covered no matter what. Go sit with Psalms 91!
I didn’t fully understand what David meant in Psalm 27 when he wrote, “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living,” until I walked through a season where seeing it felt almost impossible.
He wasn’t writing from a place of comfort. David wrote that amid enemies surrounding him, uncertainty, and a season where everything felt like it was working against him.
Yet he made a declaration not a wish or a prayer request, but a confident declaration that he would see God’s goodness in this life, not just eventually, but here.
I think of that for every woman in a hard season right now, wondering if things will ever turn around or if the goodness is real for others but not for her.
It is for you. The goodness is real and coming into your actual life not just your faith life into your relationships, health, finances, peace, and the areas where you’ve waited longest.
Stay confident, not because you can see it yet, but because He said it. And what He says doesn’t return void. 🤍

Jeremiah 29:11 is such a reminder that your life isn’t random. God already has a plan in place for you. Even in seasons where things feel uncertain, confusing, or delayed, you can trust that He’s still working behind the scenes, aligning everything the way it’s meant to be. You don’t have to have every step figured out or force things. Just keep trusting His guidance, stay grounded in your faith, and move forward knowing that what’s meant for you will come at the right time. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
There’s a moment in the Bible where Job loses everything his comfort, his stability, everything he once had. But God didn’t leave him there. “And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job… and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10 That part matters. It shows that even when you feel like you’ve lost it all, God is still able to restore and multiply what was taken. So if you’re at your lowest right now, like nothing is working out and you’re down to your last, don’t lose faith. God is still working behind the scenes. Sometimes He allows things to fall apart so He can rebuild them the right way. Sometimes the waiting is preparing you for something greater than what you had before. Stay patient. Stay trusting. Keep going even when it’s hard. Because when God steps in, He doesn’t just restore, He elevates.
