I've been thinking about this a lot.

The timeline still feels incredibly unusual.

June 27: Infold reassures everyone that all love interests remain part of the long-term plan.

June 30: Valko is suddenly cancelled.

Since then we've seen continued cleanup of official Valko content, changes to older content (Spicy cards), cancelled offline events, almost no marketing, and very little communication overall.

I don't know what's happening behind the scenes, and I don't want to pretend I do. But this doesn't look like a normal product decision to me.

Maybe they're dealing with something they can't publicly discuss yet. Maybe it's internal. Maybe it's external. We simply don't know.

i hope no one takes this the wrong way but it feels so weird to me to see screenshots of people playing the game and having a good time. like if you're playing, that's your prerogative or whatever and i'm not upset at all at you... i think i'm just more upset that i can't find enjoyment anymore.
