This was a great one to do which helped me create a grid chart, use maps for images and also my first #Python script for scraping the walkthrough guides!

@munozdataviz Thanks very much, I was worried about the thumbnail being totally blank! Thanks RE colour change as I went from complicated action type selection to realising the simple slider was actually the most effective!
Enjoyed how this #IronQuest came out. Brief was strategic use of white space & through a bit of dynamic vizibility/colour legend playing I managed to get the effect right whilst still having the option of being functional too! https://t.co/SFpK14olQy
@sarahlovesdata Bit of a hiatus but I've an idea with 25 years of data for this one! Good test is whether I can get the data through Python/API instead of downloading!
Something new in #Tableau I learnt today... you can aggregate the initial CASE in a CASE calculation to use fixed LODs inside... which was nice. #datafam
Hey #datafam! Just spotted this in the @guardian and found it a really elegant way of labelling smaller bars when splitting them up into two and there's little room for clear labels. Will be giving it a go in #tableau soon!
@marcreid@tableau@tableaupublic Looking forward to breaking this down. Can already think of the uses of this for bigger/smaller departments we have in University that have not only diff. sizes but diff. narratives going on too!
Hi @Datajedininja@JennyMartinDS14@TomProwse1
I recently solved my own Prep problem of pivoting a columned email list by ID using the new rank function. I thought this might be a good Prep challenge as remember a few forum Qs about similar things before the RANK update!
Happy to get my #IronViz 2023 qualifier in on time before daughter's birthday tomorrow! Nothing ground breaking but a silly game I just wanted to build in a short amount of time! #redgame https://t.co/6CU9M9Gp3T
@ZenDollData@tableau Thanks @ZenDollData! I have the concept working for a silly little game idea so looking forward to building a bit more before an always helpful session with @sarahlovesdata on Friday!
In #DataAnalytics, it's impossible to memorize everything you need to know about #Tableau.
Fortunately, there are amazing cheat sheets so that you don't have to memorize the basics.
Here are 7 Tableau Cheatsheets for you to download now:⤵

With the release of the new Return to #MonkeyIsland, I thought a shameless plug for my 90s point & click game dashboard was in order! #datafam PS. Yes I did pre-order RTMI!

It's been a while #datafam but with a move to NI & some work news soon I've been bit busy! However, I did the @PlayfairData expanding donut I wanted but created a double pie for functionality! It looks at subject choices for 2020/21 UK Uni students...

@CeriAWP@maryvpeace @KateVasey It's based against the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) System. Highly skilled is SOC codes 1-3. Medium is 4 -6 and low is 7-9.
Hi #datafam! About to do a little public project using the latest @PlayfairData expanding donut 🍩 with extra interactivity and want to also test out #figma with it. Should I build the charts first and then tackle figma?
