@CaraLisette Seeing it used as a throwaway reference in books. Read a book on pregnancy that said ‘people will think you’re bipolar with the mood swings!’ No, that’s not what bipolar is. Also read a novel where a character called herself bipolar for a similar reason. Gave both a 1* review!

@KalokairiRep So I’ll say to myself ‘I have 10 toes, I have 10 toenails, I have 2 big toes, I have two feet…’ and keep working up the body listing as many body parts as I can think of. I’ve only made it to my head a couple of times, nearly always fall asleep somewhere midway 😂

@KalokairiRep Yes! I’ve been talking with my therapist about that adrenaline feeling that stops me winding down for sleep. The thing I’ve found works for me is 1) the same scented oil on my wrists before bed every night and 2) a sort of body scan but counting body parts…
