BREAKING: Legendary musician Jack White of the White Stripes rips into some of his fellow celebrities by name for buddying up to Donald Trump in public at a UFC fight in Las Vegas over the weekend.
Trump was spotted glad-handing and chatting with Joe Rogan, Guy Fieri, Mark Wahlberg, and noted antisemite Mel Gibson. Jack White took to Instagram to tear into the traitor-loving celebs—
"Anybody who ‘normalizes’ or treats this disgusting fascist, racist, con man, disgusting piece of shit Trump with any level of respect is ALSO disgusting in my book," wrote White beneath photos of the people at the event.
"That’s you Joe Rogan, you Mel Gibson, you Mark Wahlberg, you Guy Fieri. This is a statement from me, not a discussion/debate. -Jack White III," he went on, pulling no punches.
White absolutely nailed it. This kind of behavior cannot be tolerated by a country that wants to survive.
This display of friendliness towards a fascist failed ex-president — a man who literally tried to overthrow our democracy — is a potent reminder that the super rich are insulated from the effects of destructive MAGA policies. They share class interests and will sell us all down the river if it gets them more tax cuts.
Kudos to Jack White for taking a stand.
Please retweet and ❤️ to thank Jack White — and consider investing in Tribel, a “woke” new Twitter competitor that is currently doing a round of equity crowdfunding and just blew past $2.5 million raised from 6,200 of its users. If you want to own a small piece of what is quickly becoming the “next big thing” in social media, here is the link to do so, https://t.co/7S6ULL2X5e. You can invest as little as $100 — or as much as you’d like. Here’s the link to download the new Tribel app that Elon Musk is so afraid of: https://t.co/HnJzSKjCwX
Guns are the #1 killer of kids in America.
More than car accidents and more than cancer. We can't let that become just another statistic.
Let's ban AR-15-style firearms and other assault weapons.
A sad day for Georgians: Bill Nigut says GPB’s Political Rewind (@PoliticsGPB) has been canceled as of June 30, apparently due to budget cuts. For the last nine years, the show has been a home for voters who demand a civil, respectable place to discuss politics & policy. #gapol
Six years ago I became enamored by the power of comics. To clarify the complexity of history. Keeping us thinking and laughing and learning. Like our graphic history of racist ideas, Stamped from the Beginning, which I'm proud to announce is out today. 1/

Tina Turner was raw. She was powerful. She was unstoppable. And she was unapologetically herself—speaking and singing her truth through joy and pain; triumph and tragedy. Today we join fans around the world in honoring the Queen of Rock and Roll, and a star whose light will never fade.
Rep. Bowman calls out Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after Capitol Hill encounter: "You are using historical, racist tropes toward Black men...that's the stuff that got Trayvon Martin killed...we're in a dangerous space." https://t.co/BKgHJcjxZ0
Today, 10 of my Senate colleagues and I sent a letter to President Biden urging him not to cave in to extreme Republican demands that will cause irreparable harm to the American people. Instead, he should prepare to use the 14th Amendment to avoid a catastrophic debt default.
Ok, then undo the yacht and private jet tax breaks the GOP passed for themselves. Why should single moms and veterans have to pay for the GOP’s giveaways to the rich?
Especially when you don’t even have the votes of your own caucus?
Republicans are so concerned about the national debt that their estate tax repeal bill would give:
$1.8 trillion to billionaires
$88 billion to the Walton family
$72 billion to Elon Musk’s family
$46 billion to the Jeff Bezos family
$0 to 99.9% of families
Total hypocrisy!
This has been the GOP's plan all along:
1) Pass massive tax cuts for the rich.
2) Claim the cuts will pay for themselves, dismissing concerns about the deficit.
3) Use the massive hole they've blown in the budget to justify deep cuts to programs that millions rely on.
🚨🚨🚨BREAKING: AOC DESTROYS Kevin McCarthy for the holding the national debt hostage and for suggesting Washington needs to “spend less.”
“Ok, then undo the yacht and private jet tax breaks the GOP passed for themselves,” AOC retorted.
“Why should single moms and veterans have to pay for the GOP’s giveaways to the rich?
Especially when you don’t even have the votes of your own caucus?” She added.
Let’s get this straight:
The Republicans want nothing more than to pretend that the debt ceiling needs to be lifted to accommodate next year's budget. They frame it that way relentlessly, and sad to say, lazy journalists buy into their framing. The debt ceiling needs to be raised to pay for all the spending the Republicans authorized in 2017 when they gave away a substantial chunk of the Treasury to their rich pals.
So now the time comes that we need to pay the country's bills incurred in the last several years and now coming due. But we're a little short on cash since we gave rich people more money, so now it's time for disabled and retired citizens to pungle up, and single mothers living close to the bone have to forego SNAP benefits. Because Kevin McCarthy couldn't possibly ask
mega billionaires to pay more.
The middle class should no longer carry the majority of the tax burden and the tax breaks for the rich. Let them pay their fair share for a change.
