Keaton Verhoeff is only 15-years-old and is already 6-foot-3, 190 pounds. He played significant minutes for the @victoriaroyals this weekend on the power play, penalty kill, and 5-on-5.

Not often do you see a young player have such a positive impact! The future is bright for Verhoeff, but the present is pretty remarkable as well!

I asked Victoria's head coach, James Patrick, for his thoughts on the young defenseman:

"I can’t say enough (good things). If I watched tonight’s game, I would say he was either our best player or our top two players. When I talk about the battle, the compete, no fear, making plays, no fear of holding onto pucks, no fear of the physical play. He led the way for our team. I need a few other guys to play the way he played."
