this is one of my favorite illustrations throughout the book. thresh looks so incredibly young and terrified after his altercation with clove. every single tribute in the arena was just a scared kid plucked from their home, and i think this picture does a great job showing that.

Someone drew this bear some 30,000 YEARS ago, and yet I can still feel the love that was put into it. The gentle shading, the curve of her mouth, the ears, the literal shape of this bear!! Love exists within a cave I think.
