The Maine Lobster Festival is a nonprofit organization, but even more than that, it is a year-round fundraiser dedicated to supporting Midcoast Maine. We set a goal of raising $20,000 to support our community this year, but we exceeded that goal with a total of $25,000!

The International Great Crate Race starts at 2 p.m. today. Last year's champion, Maverick Ausplund of Rockland, ran 3,580 crates to secure the win!

It's the final day of the Maine Lobster Festival! 5K and 10K Road Race, Cod Fish Carry, Lobster Eating Contest and Little Lobster Diaper Derby children's events. The International Great Crate Race. Live music from Midcoast Music Academy, Rocky Coast String Band and Emmett Lalor.
