[World Music Awards @WORLDMUSICAWARD]

Happy 24th birthday to the gorgeous and extremely talented award-winning Singer, Songwriter, TV host, Superstar and Fashion & Global Icon, the One & Only NINGNING!👏🦋🎂🎉🌟🐐👑❤️
NINGNING became world famous as the Main Vocalist of the hugely popular Girl Band aespa, one of the Best-selling K-Pop Groups of the Era! She is one of K-Pop's standout vocalists with a powerhouse voice and magnetic charisma. She anchors the group’s soaring high notes with emotional depth and quickly became a Superstar in her own right through solo tracks like “Bored!,” collabs with Jay Park, and OSTs that showcase her versatility. Beyond music, she’s become a fashion force and is a Global Ambassador for Versace, Gucci, and Bvlgari, making a stunning debut at this year's Met Gala in a custom black Gucci gown! Her raw vocal talent, confidence, and high-fashion edge sets her apart as both aespa’s secret weapon and standout icon.

At just 18, Ningning became the youngest aespa member to deliver a solo stage at a major Korean music awards show, stunning audiences with her vocal power. Ningning has been key to aepa's meteoric rise to fame since their November 17, 2020, debut with "Black Mamba," which broke records with 21.4 million YouTube views in 24 hours, the highest for any K-pop group's debut MV! Ningning excels in vocals on smash singles like "Next Level" and the album Savage, which propelled the group to global fame! Her high note in "Black Mamba" alone garnered over 1 million views on Bilibili (China's top video platform), making her the first aespa member with two solo clips (including covers of "Maria" and "꿈에") reaching that milestone! Ningning began her musical journey exceptionally young, showcasing prodigious talent that set her apart even before her K-pop debut! Born in Harbin, China, she graduated from the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy and began singing professionally at the age of 5, competing in major Chinese talent shows, including China's Got Talent Season 2 (2011) at just 8, China's New Sound Generation (2015) and Let's Sing Kids Season 3 where she was discovered by SM entertainment. She also performed Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" at the Harbin Silver Valley Fuxing Concert, earning widespread acclaim for her powerful vocals. Ningning is the maknae of the group, and was introduced as the 3rd member of aespa on October 28, 2020 prior to the group's official debut on November 17. In 2022 Ningning released the OST "Once Again" with Winter from the Korean drama 'Our Blues'. The song hit #119 on the Circle Digital chart in Korea. In December 2022, she sang on "Time After Time" and "Good To Be Alive" for SM's year-end compilation album '2022 Winter SM Town: SMCU Palace'. In July 2023 she released "WYA" with Jay Park for the WeTV show 'The Next 2023'. In March, 2024 she released the OST "Count on Me" for the drama 'The Midnight Studio' and was announced as the MC for the first day of KCON 2024 in Hong Kong. On October 9, 2024, she released her Solo single "Bored" from aespa's latest album 'Synk: Parallel Line', and reached #178 on the Circle Digital chart! Ningning has steadily built her solo career, and featured on Jay Park’s “Sip Ona Lil Sum’” and Minho’s “Because Of You,” plus the 2025 League of Legends track “Miss This Life.” She released the emotionally raw “Ketchup And Lemonade” in November 2025, from 'Synk: aeXIS LINE', which she co-wrote, and charted at #106 in S. Korea with huge MelOn engagement, hitting #1 on China’s QQ Music K-pop chart . In 2026 she co-wrote and co-composed both the Giselle collab “Lollipop” and her own heartfelt ballad “I Love You But I Gotta Let You Go” from 'Synk: COMPLæXITY', while powering aespa’s 2nd studio album 'LEMONADE' and the 'SYNK: COMPLæXITY' World Tour.

Ningning is an award-winning Solo Artist, having won the TMELive International Music Award 2026 for Global Top Trend Song Top 10 for her solo track “Ketchup and Lemonade.” She also received recognition at Tencent Music Year End Awards with placements in the Top 10 Korean High Score Songs for “Ketchup and Lemonade”. As a member of aespa, Ningning has won 145 Awards out of 315 nominations. aespa swept the 2024 Melon Music Awards (MMA), becoming the first female Act to win 3 Daesangs (including Album of the Year for their debut full album, a rare "flex" as Ningning called it in her speech! The group won the Rookie of the Year Award at all major music awards in South Korea including the MelOn Music Awards (MMA), the MAMA Awards (MAMA), the Golden Disc Awards (GDA), the Seoul Music Awards (SMA), the Circle Chart Music Awards (GCMA), and the Korean Music Awards (KMA). In March 2022, aespa won Song of the Year for "Next Level" at the 19th Korean Music Awards, becoming the 2nd girl group to have won the award! The Group has won 18 MelOn Music Awards, 11 Asia Pop Music Awards, 12 MAMA Awards, 9 Golden Disc Awards, 8 FACT Music Awards, 8 Hanteo Music Awards, 6 Seoul Music Awards, 6 Korean Music Awards, 5 TME live International Awards, 4 Circle chart Music Awards, 4 Asia Artist Awards, 4 MTV Video Music Awards Japan, 4 Tencent Music Entertainment Awards, 3 Asian Star Entertainer Awards, 3 D awards, 2 Japan Gold Disc Awards, 1 MTV Europe Music Award, 1 Mubeat Award, 1 Music Award Japan, 1 Philippine K-Pop Award, 1 Tik Tok Award Korea and a Visionary Award at Billboard Women In Music! In 2022 aespa received a Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Commendation!

Ningning stands out as one of the most prominent fashion icons in K-pop, famous for her gorgeous looks, her confident presence and ability to embody high-fashion looks. On February 8, 2024, she was officially named the new Global Ambassador of Versace after causing a sensation at Milan Fashion week! In August 2024, she became the global face of the Versace's Kleio Bag campaign and in November 2024, she launched Versace's holiday campaign. In February 20, 2025, Ningning was chosen as the Summer Spring season model for Fila's campaign at the ABC Mart and on February 26 2025, she became the brand ambassador for Maybelline in North and Southeast Asia. Gucci named Ningning its global ambassador on April 29, 2026, recognizing her distinctive style and bold artistic identity with Ningning describing the partnership as surreal, as she grew up fascinated by the house. She fronted the second chapter of Gucci’s “Beauty and the Bag” campaign (May 2026), which centers on the new Paparazzo handbag. This followed the first chapter featuring Kate Moss and Emily Ratajkowski. She caused a sensation at Gucci’s Primavera show during Milan Fashion Week on February 27, 2026! On September 21, 2026, Bulgari appointed Ningning its global ambassador, praising her extraordinary artistry and magnetic presence. She starred in Bulgari's Divas’ Dream fine jewelry collection with its signature fan-shaped motifs and rocked Bulgari Serpenti Viper pieces at the 2026 Met Gala. The latest Gucci and Bulgari roles highlight Ningning's range across ready-to-wear, handbags, and fine jewelry while reinforcing her status as a top K-pop fashion force!

Ningning is very much involved in charity and helping others, focused on helping vulnerable seniors via the Red Cross. In May 2026, on the YouTube show Nothing Much Prepared with Lee Young-ji, Ningning voluntarily donated 20 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross after winning a playful game. In July 2026, the Seoul Branch used her donation as part of a 27 million KRW project for an Extreme Heat Relief Support Project. It helped around 600 elderly households living alone in Seoul with portable neck coolers and nutritious ready-to-eat meals (samgyetang, galbitang, doganitang) to protect them during a severe heatwave! As a member of aespa, she has also donated to wildfire recovery after the LA wildfires! aespa also donated 500,000 HKD to the Hong Kong Red Cross in November 2025 to support victims of the deadly Wang Fuk Court fire!

Ningning is far more than a powerhouse main vocalist! She stands out as a rare global force who blends K-pop stardom with high-fashion influence and quiet generosity.

24 WISHES FOR NINGNING

pagi-pagi baca komen dari aplikasi sebelah soal "gimana pak kalo anak perempuannya tetiba ijin bentangin spanduk protes? di tengah kota? yg konsekuensinya dibawa ke polda? diijinin ga pak?"

reading the parents’ comments made me emotional in the warmest way. 🥹♥️

gue jadi mikir, someday gue juga mau jadi orang tua yang bisa bikin anak gue merasa aman buat bersuara, berani memperjuangkan apa yang dia percaya, dan tau kalau rumah akan selalu jadi tempat dia pulang. i hope i can be that kind of parent someday.
