There’s a man in PE who got bail of R1000 after having raped an 11 year old boy. I need @MbalulaFikile to explain what he means when he says we can’t blame governance and we must work together. How do we work together on the return of a rapist to the community of PE after this?
There's so much going on. I don't even know where to start but my country, it's women and children are disappearing by the day. Our fellow african brothers are being killed and some people are justifying it. It's scary, sad and it's wrong. Something needs to happen.
Every year we cry out like this!! Every year. And it’s always either during or just after Womans month.
EVERY YEAR!
But what has been done?!
This didn’t start last week. Or last month. It’s been happening.
I really don’t want hold a candle in this conversation because I genuinely don’t feel I have the right to speak on it. To the women speaking out, I applaud you for having the courage to speak out. 🙏🏾🔋 stay blessed.
Living in this country as a women is an extreme sport. Everyday we as women are told we need to be extra vigilant, walk in numbers 😩 I don’t wana live my life having to look over my shoulder every time I leave my house. When will this misery end?
Wanna know why #MenArwTrash, they responded to this hashtag with #NotAllMen
You know what is the most powerful response to this “denialism”? It’s an even more relevant question each woman & girl child ask themselves when they hear that a woman has been killed or raped:
#AmINext
Heartbreaking end to the search of #UyineneMrwetyana. Yes, justice must be served but what of the safety of women in this climate? We can't keep posting RIP, women are in danger. Why is this not being heard by our leaders? May this be the straw that breaks the camel's back!💔😔
The silence from the powers that be is deafening.. I can’t sleep... what is going on in our country and why is there silence from those who can make a change!
As beautiful as the thought of mothering may be, bringing life into this world, in SA in particular, in this particular time, is the scariest reality 💔.
We are fighters. We are not comfortable with saying, 'I'm done. I quit. I give up'.
Rape, kidnapping, abuse, murders of women in our country has given HIM power, tearing us apart, telling us 'You are done. You will quit. You will give up. I will take your life'
AM I NEXT 💔
