🇱🇧 Israeli Warplanes Launch New Strikes Across Southern Lebanon

Israeli warplanes carried out new strikes Sunday evening on Douha Kfar Rumman, near Nabatieh, one of southern Lebanon’s main cities, and al-Qantara in the Marjayoun district, Lebanese media including Press TV’s Hadi Hoteit reported. Israeli forces also fired phosphorus munitions around Kfar Tibnit and Nabatieh al-Fawqa. (MTV Lebanon)

➤ The attacks come after a day of widespread Israeli military activity across southern Lebanon. Journalist Courtney Bonneau documented airstrikes in at least five locations, artillery shelling across 10, and a drone strike near Nabatieh al-Fawqa.

➤ She also documented home and infrastructure demolitions in eight locations, including Houla, al-Qantara, Arnoun and Sarbin, along with machine-gun fire, a helicopter sweep near the Litani River and reported arson in Hadatha.

Much of the activity was concentrated across communities in southern Lebanon between the Litani River and the Israeli border.
