📢 OFFICIAL STATEMENT ELECTRÓN COMMUNITY (ARC20)
From the ELECTRÓN community, we want to clearly and transparently state that we will no longer support or endorse the BitMeta project.
This decision comes after a long period of waiting during which established timelines were not met, nor were the expectations that were publicly communicated to the community. The result was a significant loss of time, energy, and focus, affecting both developers and users who trusted the project’s progress.
BitMeta generated expectations around the AVM and its development, but constant delays, the lack of concrete results, and poor communication ultimately undermined trust. This situation has caused disappointment not only within the Latin community, but also within the Chinese community, two fundamental pillars of the Atomicals ecosystem.
As a community, we believe that:
Builders’ and users’ time is valuable
Transparency must be accompanied by results
Bitcoin and Atomicals require real commitment, not indefinite promises
ELECTRÓN has always stood for serious development aligned with Bitcoin’s principles: work, proof, execution, and responsibility. When a project fails to uphold these principles, it is our duty to step back and move forward.
We reaffirm our commitment to:
The Atomicals ecosystem
Development on Bitcoin L1
A global community that builds with actions, not delays
We thank our Latin and Chinese communities for their patience, support, and clarity. We move forward, focused on building not waiting.
🔥 Bitcoin Core v30.0 just opened a new era for metaprotocols on Bitcoin.
With this update, OP_RETURN removes the 80-byte limit, allowing multiple data fragments to be emitted within a single transaction.
Plus, the minimum relay fee is reduced to 0.1 sat/vB, making it cheaper to store and execute data directly on L1.
What does this mean for the #Atomicals ecosystem and the AVM (Atomicals Virtual Machine)?
👉 The AVM will benefit directly by being able to:
Execute more complex contracts directly on Bitcoin, without relying on external layers.
Process multiple operations within a single transaction, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
Enable new forms of crowdfunding, staking, and digital economies on Bitcoin L1.
Example:
A crowdfunding protocol built on AVM could now store all participation, validation, and result data within a single Bitcoin transaction, thanks to the expanded OP_RETURN capacity.
@bitmetabtc and the entire #Atomicals ecosystem are right at the inflection point where Bitcoin becomes a programmable layer without losing its L1 purity. 🔶

Some people still think they can “protect” Bitcoin by blocking protocols or restricting what they don’t understand.
But Bitcoin was never designed to be a static system. It’s not just digital goldit’s a distributed, programmable database capable of supporting full layers of infrastructure.
From Atomicals, we see it clearly:
if an idea can be executed within the UTXO model, then it belongs on Bitcoin.
Innovation doesn’t stop because a node adopts restrictive policies.
Innovation happens when we build.
And what’s coming will completely change how we interact with Bitcoin.
It has a name: @bitmetabtc
In this ecosystem, progress doesn’t ask for permission.
It simply gets deployed.
