@realBobbyMil “Someone capable of earning an advanced degree in philosophy likely has more to contribute to civilization than someone whose principal claim to distinction is owning a few car dealerships in Missouri.”
There is no evidence for this.
Someone’s bio: “The truth will always sound like hate to those who hate the truth.” Me: “that person is MEAN and ANGRY.” I guess I must hate the truth. I mean, she wouldn’t lie in her BIO, now, would she?
@realmitchlittle@LoewyLawFirm AI won’t replace lawyers completely. But it will probably make legal research so much faster and more efficient that young associates are not necessary. Which then calls into question how are we going to raise up young lawyers into experienced lawyers with good judgment?
@DavidAFrench Define “we.” Christians and the church should feed the poor, etc. That’s actual Bible. You can argue about whether “we” as the government should do so, but it ain’t Bible. And “we” in the latter really means “you, and your money.”
You are not facing darkness with your own strength.
Jesus Christ is in you.
Start there.
Not in your cleverness.
Not in your spiritual maturity.
In His presence.
The enemy is not impressed by you.
He is terrified of Jesus.
So take your ground. Breathe.
Remember who lives in you.

“Tomorrow our coalition, which is the broadest-based, most bipartisan coalition in the history of our city, is going to say we will not accept anything less than an independent audit of our city budget,” said Mackowiak. “Taxpayers have had enough.”
