@Melbourne_says Ah yes the one that decried misogyny, then rolled back sex based rights that let misogyny jog through the door and steamroll all women’s sex based rights! Her stupid speech was a performance nothing more!
@AusPoll6 The nicest metric I take from this poll is Labor has lost more voters(it also appears people are walking away from the greens and fake independents), this will only continue as their abject economic failures and ideological obsessions continue to grow.
How was it imported? It was a female Australian PM that removed sex based protections, this one is home grown! As a woman I want the sex based rights my grandmother fought for, misogynistic fetishized men should not be dictating our rights! Let biological women have a say in what is or isn’t acceptable to us!
Except that doesn’t add up, you’ve been in power for over a decade, he didn’t create the states debt, he didn’t raise taxes, he didn’t lose billions in dodgy construction contracts, he didn’t reneg on the commonwealth games costing us billions. The issues families are facing are on you and your gang of bobble heads!
I believe in a fair go, who’s not receiving a “fair go” at the moment? So far I’ve seen my taxes being thrown at HECS debts, something I weighed up when I was younger and decided I couldn’t afford, so chose a different path! Now after years of hard work and sacrifice (none of which came from the government)! They want to take a piece of the years my husband worked away, missing a lot of time with his children so they had a comfortable upbringing (something he didn’t have). You can’t polish a turd Ash, this is a cash grab that will do nothing to assist young people! If that was really their focus they would invest in opportunities for them (business incentives)and get inflation under control, that’s what’s really killing them atm!
The difference is we were all thriving under Howard, then went backwards under Rudd/Gillard, then thriving again under Abbott, slightly backwards under Turnball, then back to doing well under Morrison, until COVID hit and the states went rogue. The downturn since Albo was elected, is of the likes I’ve never experienced, my parents have likened it to the Keating Era.
2022
If I’m elected I’ll hold a royal commission into the response to COVID.
There are no plans to change the stage 3 tax cuts.
We won’t change taxation on super.
I won’t go missing in a disaster.
I’ll bring decency back to politics.
I’ll spend more time working for the Australian people than photo ops.
2025 so far in this cycle:
We have no plans to touch negative gearing or CGT.
Malcolm Turnbull benefits heavily from renewables and renewable subsidies. Pete on the other hand is wealthy, have you missed the recent interview Albo did with Pete’s daughter, you think that kind of opportunity doesn’t come from a place of privilege. Pete sits in his ivory tower, denigrating and insulting those that don’t agree with his world view.
@james00000001@RichardIrons13@TheKouk But what if you are? What if you’re empty nesters wanting to downsize so a young family can take your larger home? What if you’re a young couple that brought in at the high end in the last 2 years and your house value drops below the value of your mortgage?
@brendanmccallum@Peter_Fitz Pirate Pete, Andrew Forrest, Lindsay Fox, Malcolm Turnbull all benefiting from the Labor government and have the direct ear of our government!
