This is SO TRUE. I’ve actually been using my iPod touches for controlling music at my house set up with Airplay to end the chain to my iPhone. Agree that it’s a product that should’ve lived on. Or be reborn bc our iPhones have become our wallet. You don’t leave your wallet in your backyard or at a pool to stream music to your AirPlay speakers. For me having a simple streaming device that’s not your phone works in my world.
@jason61987 A number of Retail stores and restaurants in the Melrose District of Los Angeles flooded from backed up storm drains. 1-2ft of water at one point.
@DefiantLs Earth to many of you… Nearly every major city on earth has ghettos! Surprise. Some of you don’t get out much. That’s DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES today. CHICAGO. NEW YORK. Oh the horror for those girls to see real life on display in Paris no less.

Covid deaths and %ED visits are currently the lowest on record in the US. 8 month running wastewater totals (infections) are the lowest since 2021.
Not a bad place to be relative to where we've been, if you ask me.
A curfew from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. will take effect Tuesday night for parts of downtown Los Angeles amid the ongoing anti-ICE protests, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass announced. She added that the curfew may be in effect for several days.

@DisneyFoodBlog Omg — had one of these. Rip off. Rock hard “Cinnabons” that seemed STALE, and a spoonful of crunchy sugar. You are not missing anything by avoiding this nothing of a sundae.
Thank you. Some important points. Sadly most clinical trials today are paid. Meaning “volunteers” are hired to participate. While I read some of the studies you might be citing - IF Plaxovid isn’t doing anything how on earth can anyone explain such a rapid drop off in viral load to the point a drop in fever is so pronounced and rapid? The body is doing that lol? Not in my experience. I was a participant in Pfizer’s first vaccine study. I’ll testify in court that there’s no way these days studies are hang your hat on material.
Honestly - Public Health strategies should laser focus on borders. I brought up an international music festival bc it’s populated by people from all over the world. It’s no accident it’s become a driver of ID acquisition. The only other time I’ve had Covid I caught it in Las Vegas another place public health should focus on communicable disease.
It’s a well documented fact that Coachella that attracts nearly 250,000 international guests over two weeks creates spread of many pathogens. Having taken Plaxovid before there’s no doubt it cuts vital burden and relieves reactive inflammatory symptoms. Again good ID doctors know that a 5 day course of PLAX is not gonna sustain suppression. At the time of its EUA there was limited data and limited supply. I know two people in a L A study of a 10 day course suffered NO rebound phenomena and fully recovered with little symptom impact.
Interesting. While not in a vulnerable population for myself vs my peer group that some didn’t take it - my symptoms subsided way faster and just finished a three mile walk lol. I’d take it again without question. My same DR readily prescribes Tamiflu as well and the data too isn’t that strong right? Secondly do you think we will see an actual C19 vaccine this year? It’s not looking good. Thoughts?
