In my 20s, the best lesson I ever learnt was that life will go on. People come and go, we lose friends, break up with lovers, meet new people, encounter success and failure and life will go on. You will be alright.

As someone who has worked with salaries and bank statements, I've learned not to be swayed by social media aesthetics or outward appearances. The reality is that many people portray a lifestyle that doesn't reflect their financial situation
once you cut people out of your life, you need to become very comfortable with them talking bad and making things up about you. bc they will fill your silence and your absence with stories that make them feel better about losing access to you. people rarely take accountability when it’s easier to paint you as the villain.
