this fake activism from certain people is getting boring; “i can consume Coca-Cola but BTS can’t,” “i can use Ai but BTS can’t,” “i can listen to this music but BTS can’t” umm NO. BTS aren’t some dolls you can make act at your will, they’re human beings who DON’T owe you shit!!
at the end of the day, bts are supposed to be a part of your life and not your whole entire life. if something they do affects you to the point it derails your daily life then you rly got bigger problems i'm sorry please step away for a bit.
@terrellsmanboob I’ve never seen them getting the same backlash as bts got what they did was wrong but yall selective outrage is so stupid there’s not a single saint in the music history who hasn’t done smth problematic
the concept of loving BTS without feeling entitled to their personal lives, obsessing over their sexuality, appearance, clothes, friendships, or every little thing they do just simply respecting them as human beings while supporting their music.
A reminder that “They Don't Know 'Bout Us”
🐥: RM and I were talking one night after work, and the phrase came out of that conversation. The initial wording was actually “you make me weak,” because that's what I wanted to tell the fans.
🐥: You shape us, you always treat us like we’re such amazing people, but because of that, we don’t have room for growth. I wanted to try expressing that feeling that they might be making us weak. And “they don’t know ‘bout us” came out of that discussion, initially. Since then, it’s expanded to include our other members’ thoughts in there, but in the beginning, it came from the idea that nobody knows how weak we are. That’s how the idea evolved, from “you make me weak.”
