One person's "She's bossy!" is another person's "She's a decision maker!".
There's nuance and context but in general - you want a bossy decision maker when all else are losing their heads in the moment.
@saracress My parents and grandparents did not have the same challenges at my same age - I remember their stories and I was around for much of the later years. No one was caring full-time for both parents, for one. 😅
SAG LA Vice President Michelle Hurd explains that “you know those actors when you go ‘oh there’s that guy from that show’, you don’t necessarily know their names… those actors are working class actors who are literally working paycheck to paycheck.”
I hate pulling out my business voice to call offices about people not doing their jobs. I hate it because I shouldn't have to babysit professionals.

"Your mom seems frustrated by my approach in speech therapy..."
"Use your clinical judgement and cut your losses if she doesn't have progressive billable rehab potential..."
Yeah, I said that. 😆 I know my mom. I know what "frustrated" really means.

Hey, see you in 4 days. Cos that's the pattern, now.
"We saved her meal for her."
"Her body doesn't need the extra nutrients at this time. She sleeps. She's not hungry."
I know what is happening. It's why I can't watch her PT/OT videos from 2 weeks ago. She recovered well, then it went boom.
I wish I knew how people could help me re: my ill parent.
Nothing makes this situation better. Nothing makes us feel good. 5 bounceback hospitalizations for systemic doom tends to do that. You just become numb putting out fires every two days like clockwork.
