@sparkschasing @Krasova_Kata I had a rescue that came from a home where another cat terrorized her. She was scared of all other cats. I had to stop fostering cause she ran from kittens while peeing herself in a panic. So no, not all cats want a cat companion

@Jolly_Blaziken I had an appt recently and the doctor mentioned going to med school THREE TIMES. Although one of those was when I corrected him about my own health history and he said "Well I guess I didn't go to med school" very sarcastically

@unclutterQueen @anon_sequiturs @cali_cecii I was a foster kid for a combined 9 years bc they kept giving me back to my shitty mom, and that was definitely not my experience. Most homes would just ignore me until they wanted to parade me in front of friends to show how charitable they were. I considered that a "good" home.

@Bossybritches22 @onyxicca @Yoda4ever Found a pair of bonded cats on a shelter website and one was black. We weren't looking for 2 cats but I knew there was a good chance they'd get separated cause folks are so weird about black cats. Attendant was overjoyed when I told him who we'd come to see.

@ask_aubry Absolutely convinced my mom's disdain for motherhood came from being forced to breastfeed me when I was allergic to formula and I guess there were no other options in the 80's. She certainly brought it up enough.

@MamaSitaa__ My hs was huge, with 7 mins between classes. Fine until the semester where my classes alternated sides of the building. No time to stop and I had to get a doctor's note when I got a UTI to force teachers to let me leave class. Not to be dramatic but I hate this teacher
