@ChaseDaniel Listen to his post game and you'll see why....

The SEC thinks letting former NFL players come back to college gives them an advantage.

I think it could backfire spectacularly.

Imagine being a 19 or 20 year old kid who busted his ass for 2–3 years waiting for his shot… only for your school to bring in a 24 year old who just got cut from an NFL roster and hand him your position.

Meanwhile the Big Ten says: NFL means NFL. Once you go pro, you don't come back and take a college kid's job.

Guess where those young SEC players are going to start transferring?

The Big Ten.

So while the SEC is busy turning college football into NFL practice squads, the Big Ten can walk into a recruit's living room and say:

"Come here. Develop. Earn your position. And don't worry about a 24 year old former NFL player showing up in August and taking it from you."

The SEC might gain a few former pros.

They could lose an entire generation of actual college football players.

Be careful what you wish for. 👀

@AriWasserman The biggest loser from today's move isn't LeBron's legacy, it's the GOAT debate. You don't chase rings when you believe you've already won the argument.

[Melty Cheeze @MeltyCheeze79]

Call it whatever you want, but this move tells me LeBron still thinks he's chasing Jordan. If he truly believed he'd already passed him, he wouldn't still be ring hunting at 41. Legacy took a hit today.

Jalen Duren needs to be a max player for the Detroit Pistons. 4 weeks SHOULD NOT outweigh 4 years!

@karnsies817 Something tells you "Sources" are internal now🤣

[Melty Cheeze @MeltyCheeze79]

@BenchwarmerBran Yeah ok bro. His owner was out banging hookers. Players do this everyday. Unless you live under a rock this happens every day get over and and find something else to do

[Melty Cheeze @MeltyCheeze79]

@Mike_Bundt If it was a player it wouldn't even be a story. You're trying to roll someone's head on their personal life. Get over and find something to do with your spare time

[Melty Cheeze @MeltyCheeze79]

@BrianHarri54673 @BigJakeCLE Not a chance youre crazy. They aren't going to be good this year and Simpson is a waste of a high pick. You wait til next season's draft and get the guy you want.

[Melty Cheeze @MeltyCheeze79]

@androidmorrow @recruits_cfb How did the SEC do in the playoff? I'll wait...

[Melty Cheeze @MeltyCheeze79]

@ClayTravis None of those things help but I think the way cable has faded and having to purchase 14 streaming services doesn't help. Compounded with an 82 game schedule it becomes stagnant. The league is also missing the next "carry the torch" player. Jordan had it at an all time high in '98
