We exceeded the product sale expectation by 3x.

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟕 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬.

→ Community engagement was low.

→ The community didn’t care about the product.

→ There was no curiosity content around the product.

→ Zero anticipation from community.

For anyone who knows web3 marketing,
Curiosity + Anticipation + Hype = 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗦.

This gave us a marketing challenge.

Not an issue.

We had to increase our creativity level.

Don't know your customer? 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱.

This was the number one thing I did when I got onboarded

I had a call with every team member

• Founder
• CTO
• Moderators
• Designer etc….

And we narrowed down our target audience.

It’s not enough to guess who your target audience is.

You need to involve every team member in this research process.

Get their thoughts on who they think the product is for.

Project was new to 𝕏.

1200 followers with ZERO reach.

Position your offer in a way that benefits the community, not around the offer itself.

We used content to breathe life into the community.

Don’t dish out complicated product features.

𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱:

• Create sneak peek contents

• Showcase customer reviews

• Showcase product delivery to customers

• Post short engaging video of product feature

If viewers like what they see, they will jump in to learn more.

Don’t force your product down their throat.

Instead remind them of the pain they’ll face by NOT using your product

𝟔: 𝐔𝐆𝐂 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬

Marketing isn't a solo game.

You need to create a product that is “talkable”

If people can’t help but talk about your product, you’ve won.

We had different X accounts writing about us.

This helped to expand our reach.

The more conversations your brand sparks up, the more it’ll spread through word of mouth.

𝟕: 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬

Product sale was coming in slowly

This had me worried and restless

But then I remembered “𝐈’𝐦 𝐇𝐢𝐦”

We decided to incentive early purchasers

Not with money, but with access

BOOM! Sales started storming in.

The goal was to hit $7000 in 4 weeks
