@MarkSham But long story short the change for our kids has not been easy. Life in Canada is expensive we don’t have the same lifestyle as we had in SA. Housing is expensive and you are right there are trade offs. But we are resilient and we going to make this work.

@MarkSham We left SA in our mid 40’s as I had a yearning to live on a different continent and due to the fact that the SA govt is not in the best shape it made it easier to make the decision, I am also in a company that offered an international mobility program.

🗓️🇨🇦 Since September 14, 2021, IRCC has not conducted any Express Entry draws specifically targeting the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), resulting in understandable frustration among eligible permanent residency candidates. 😩💼

In the past, CEC-specific draws gave an advantage to profiles with at least 1 year of Canadian experience by offering lower CRS cutoff scores. 🎯📝
