See ya!
Today I had my 1st kick-off session to start building a new design system with a new team. I forgot how exciting it is to get a chance to redefine everything and start from scratch, great comments, great conversations, and great motivation in the early stages.
For people onboarding to a new role, where do you start understanding the team and products you’ll be working with? Everything is documented, but still having trouble deciding where to begin or seeing the progress if you look at it from different angles
Today (after a longer than expected delay), finally it was my first day at Volvo Cars, it was really exciting meeting the team and hear about all the amazing projects ahead, can’t wait to get to work on all of them!

Starting the year off with some library updates in @figma 🔥
1. There's a new icon to let you know when subscribed styles/instances have changes
2. You can now accept changes for individual instances/layers
3. Also you can now see a before vs after preview before hitting update!
Alright 2023 started, I’m coming back to my working self anytime now, feels a little weird to be off the market for so long, I hope I still remember how to work 😅
@zeroheight In my experience generating code from design results in a lot of waste, and might be hard to make it flexible using one design as input, design with coded components seems to be the opposite, but isn’t it what a design system does already? 🤔
