1939 is a perceptual color engine and computational creativity system that extracts OKLCH palettes from images via a 24-stage pipeline (E = ฮ โ ฮ โ ฮจ โ ฮ โ ฮฃ โ ฮ โ ฮฆ). Farthest-point sampling selects maximally diverse colors โ always picking the color most different from those already chosen โ and the Hungarian optimization algorithm (Kuhn-Munkres) then finds the globally optimal assignment of those colors to semantic roles.
Together they are the pipeline's fitness function, creating provably optimal assignment. Community voting and minting โ 6529 meme cards measured by Total Days Held โ provide external evaluation with real economic stakes, satisfying Ritchie's criteria (novelty, typicality, quality) with community-validated rigor rather than anecdotal judgment.
The system was co-created with an open source stateful Hermes Agent (powered by Kimi K2.6 and GLM 5.1) on distributed mesh infrastructure that the agent itself as a creative worker helped design, configure, and maintain.
1939 satisfies all three of Boden's creativity types: combinational (palette sources from existing art), exploratory (systematic search within OKLCH space), and transformational (defining OKLCH as the searchable space altered what was perceptually reachable).
It satisfies Clark and Chalmers' extended mind thesis across two axes: cognition extends into the mesh (constantly available, reliably accessed, previously endorsed, actively used) and into the community (TDH-weighted selection is community-endorsed evaluation that feeds back into the pipeline).
Computational creativity to infinity is not metaphor โ the OKLCH volume integral upper bound is infinity.

At first glance, this artwork might look like it's about the 6529 and subscription on this crypto space.
But honestly, it's about something much bigger.
We live in a world built around subscriptions. Movies, music, news, education, communities, and even the apps we use every day. Subscription has become a defining part of modern digital culture.
Almost every platform asks us to subscribe. So perhaps the real question isn't whether we should subscribe but what is truly worth subscribing to.
Good ideas. Knowledge. Art. Memes. Communities or People who inspire us.
The smiling Nakamoto holding a popsicle represents a simple invitation. slow down, enjoy the moment, and support the things you genuinely value. Rather than presenting subscription as an obligation, the popsicle adds a sense of comfort, joy, and ease turning a common digital action into something warm and human. Combined with the comic vintage advertising aesthetic, Chill n' Free transforms a familiar internet phrase into a reflection of how we spend our attention in the digital age.
Find what matters.
Then, Subscribe and Chill.

Freedom To Ascend was created from an overnight time-lapse captured at high camp beneath Mount Alpamayo (5,947 m) in Peru's Cordillera Blanca, which is often regarded as one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. That moment became the foundation of this piece.
Conceptually, Freedom To Ascend is a visual metaphor for an open and decentralized culture. A commons without gatekeepers and where participation is self-directed. Working from a single frame of the timelapse, I parallaxed the landscape and built a network of interconnected nodes across the sky, transforming the stars into a dreamlike representation of the open metaverse. At its centre sits the brightest visible signal, the network origin and reference point from which all other connections emerge.
The first text elements appear as the coordinates of Mount Alpamayo, anchoring the piece in the physical place. As the climbers move upward by the light of their headlamps, their motion is inscribed into the 6529 smart contract, turning the ascent into proof of work made permanent. As the final beams of light transcend the sky, a closing message appears: Signal Active. The climb is not spectacle. It is conviction.
We climb without permission. We are the signal.

A Testament to the Hardest Truth began with a simple observation:
The meaning of Bitcoin depends heavily on where you stand.
For some, Bitcoin is a speculative asset. For others, itโs a hedge. For millions of people around the world, itโs something far more fundamentalโฆ survival.
The work explores the slow erosion of value through monetary debasement and the search for systems capable of preserving it. The composition unfolds as a visual journey through growth, fragility, decay and renewal.
Natural forms, fragmented textures, binary code, hidden references and symbols drawn from internet culture are layered throughout the piece. Together they tell a story about knowledge, perspective and the importance of seeing beyond the default assumptions of the systems we inherit.
The title reflects a truth I believe is often overlookedโฆ hard work alone is not always enough. In many parts of the world, surviving and thriving requires the ability to recognise when existing systems are failing and the courage to explore alternatives.
Ultimately, this piece is about sovereignty, resilience and the pursuit of truths that are easy to ignore until they become impossible to avoid.

2/ Artist Profile
While most people know Michael Buda as an Australian photographer, most are not aware that he has also been creating collage art for many years, though until recently it has remained largely unseen.
Photography has always been Michael's creative outlet, evolving from a hobby and family holiday snapshots into a broader exploration of abstraction, texture, and visual storytelling.
Often drawn to the details often overlooked, Michael uses photography as a way to share how he sees and experience the world around us.
Collage art is where he feels most free to create whatever his imagination allows. Photography often becomes the starting point for experimentation, where layering, manipulation, and the blending of visual elements transform familiar scenes into something entirely new.
His work aims to challenge perspective and encourage personal interpretation, often drawing on themes of nostalgia, memory, and curiosity. The process allows him to move beyond just creating a scene and into constructing new visual experiences.
Whether working with a camera in the landscape or creating collage art, Michael's work is driven by curiosity, creativity, and a desire to explore the connection between place, memory, and emotion.

I personally focus on these pillars while creating:
-Vitality potential
-Rememe potential
-Capturing zeitgeist at a moment in funny manner
-Broader message
This artwork operates with dual intent.
First, itโs a commentary on the idea that memes are for everyone. Memes donโt care where you come from, what you believe, what status you hold, or what side of the internet you live on. Memes spread through people. Anyone can participate. Anyone can REMEME. Anyone can belong.
Second, itโs a tongue-in-cheek commentary on the 6529 voting system itself. Since meme selection is influenced through network TDH, โLET THIS MEME INโ becomes both a joke and a persistent psychological nudge to the voters. A slogan. A plea. A piece of memetic propaganda constantly reminding the network what to do.
