@SlamTank25@gonefishin1948@BasedMikeLee We believe we are literally Children of God the father and being children we can take part in the kind of life he enjoys. We don’t believe we are a different species than god. People misrepresent this belief by saying “we get a planet”
@SlamTank25@gonefishin1948@BasedMikeLee We believe that everyone who has ever been on the earth will be resurrected. Depending on final judgement the degree which you are resurrected too might be different. Those who follow Christ and make and keep sacred covenants with him by his authority can become heirs with Christ
@MiddleearthMixr@chrchhstrymtrs church history matters podcast does an incredible dive into this topic. If you like deep dives into multiple branch off groups I’d recommend them. Really fascinating.
@fatherleenelson We believe Jesus is the eternal god and that he died on the cross and was resurrected the third day! We believe by him and through him is the only way we can recieve grace and a remission of sins. We know he lives and loves us and gave his life willingly for all of us.
@farmingandJesus And yet the Protestants have trans pastors and go to a church called something like “tree on a hill first street church” 🤦♂️most of them don’t say anything about Christ in the churches name.
@SlamTank25@gonefishin1948@BasedMikeLee Yes Christ has existed eternally and has always been divine. He has always been god so he didn’t become one of many gods. The notion of many gods comes from a theological debate amongst members and isn’t canon. It stems from our belief that we are literally children of god.
@TheHonkingOne@SlamTank25@gonefishin1948@BasedMikeLee Yeah I don’t think that makes sense… then he wants his disciples to be one with them in the same context…. But anyways my point is don’t misrepresent our beliefs when you don’t know them. Thats all I’m asking.
@SlamTank25@gonefishin1948@BasedMikeLee Exactly, we don’t believe he was a created being…. That’s the straw man you think we believe, thanks for proving my point.
