@AviancaEscucha The customer support provided during and after the whole incident is disappointing. No general announcements were made nor visible support staff was provided in Gatwick or Heathrow (where Avianca has an offical desk!)

No information was given to the passengers with connections flights from Heathrow. They said Avianca stuff will answer our questions in Gatwick #av120 @Avianca

@AviancaEscucha No, this is not true. There was no visible there. We tried at Heathrow Multiple times as well

Many people are waiting there for information about their connections but @Avianca does not help at all. We just want to get home

Finally at Heathrow there was still nobody of @Avianca there. According to the hotline (someone spent 3 hours there) the counter will open at 6pm. #av120

However, when we arrived at Gatwick (17h late and still the wrong airport) there was nobody of @Avianca there. Airport police told us to go to Heathrow and ask there for further instructions. #av120 Some passengers where having Trouble with their visas.

After boarding the new plane it took another 2 hours until we finally departed. The flight and staff by @Wamosair was really nice actually

It's normal that a new plane takes some time. But really weak was @Avianca informations politics. No crew member was ever seen again and the flight was postponed many times. Finally it appeared with the Destination #gatwick #av120

#av120 so far the Situation was well handled by the crew and we landed safely. After aprox. one hour in the plane we were taken to #lajes terminal

#av120 just before landing a further announcement was made "that the Situation is under control" (4/x). At the airport we were greeted by a lot of emergency vehicles.

Then the board entertaiment system crashed and rebooted. You could really feel the tense, yet there was no further explanation by the crew. When the system rebooted after mimutes everyone had it open and looked at the landing countdown. (3/x) #av120

#av120 suddenly over the atlantic the plane made a sharp turn. A first announcement was made only 10min later. "Due to a technical problem we have to divert to the next airport, which is 50min apart" (2/x)

I was on #av120 yesterday. Even before boarding we had a strange feeling because the aircraft nose looked like it was fixed using duct tape @Avianca (1/x)
