Born today in 1821, William Poole aka Bill the Butcher rose from New Jersey roots to become a forceful nativist operative in 1850s New York.
As a leading figure in the Bowery Boys and an organizer for the Know Nothing movement, he channeled street networks into political muscle, backing native born candidates, disrupting immigrant backed Tammany rallies and treating election days as contests of loyalty as much as votes.
In a city rapidly transformed by Irish arrivals, Poole embodied the American Party’s hard line: America for Americans. He died at 33 still declaring himself “a true American.”
This story is actually insane. The police picked up a 16 yr old girl that was kidnapped by Omar (the guy Shiloh Hendrix insulted) and his brother at a gas station. They raped her for two days. She was found "sleep-deprived, dehydrated, and had not eaten recently" according to the nurse that examined her.
They found her glasses in their trailer. She identified them perfectly in a lineup.
Then, in the middle of the case, prosecutors discretely dropped charges with no explanation and no oversight. "In the interest of justice," they said.
This was just one month before the Shiloh Hendrix incident. During the Shiloh Hendrix trial, we find out that Omar's son, who is actually 9 even though it was claimed he was 5, already wears a ankle monitor because his father lets him wander off and steal things. As is expected, the father has faced no consequences for this.
In Minnesota, a single word is worse than kidnapping and raping a young girl. Two Somalian men abducted a young, vulnerable girl, then were shielded by the government and faced zero consequences. Personally, I think the charges were dropped to avoid their deportation.
On the flip side, a productive member of society gets probation, a jail sentence, and 200 hours of community service over a single word, with no violence involved in any way.
We can't live like this. We can't live in a country where foreigners are above the law, yet get to twist the law into a weapon against productive American citizens.
There is only room for one way of life, one people in any given place. It is a zero sum game.
In America, that is the American people, and anyone who isnt a part of that must go
Sim Gill is running for a 5th term as SLC / CO DA. That's like having Taco Bell 4 times and thinking "certainly I won't be crapping myself in the street if I do it a 5th time".
Besides this song being great, anything Country/Southern has more cultural power now because these still read as uniquely American.
The rest of the country has either been colonized by the third world, demoralized by decades of leftist propaganda, or hollowed out economically, castrating their regional identities.
The same can’t be said for the South. It has filled a cultural void in other Americans. Look no further than the rising popularity of Country music or boots as proof. The South is Rising Again precisely because it has been able to hold onto its identity.
