@AlisonRosen Yes. Being vaccinated is a must n the hospital I get treated at also everyone has 2 wear a mask. I’m at the hospital right now doing a test 4 my peritoneum. I’m on peritoneal dialysis & this is necessary 2 adjust my treatment for better results.

@arabictype It was but I transferred to a different school and the faculty in my new school were much more open minded. Fun fact we watched the Helvetica documentary n class. I was so happy when I saw you in it. I told my professors that u designed Helvetica neue Arabic

@arabictype @USATODAY That along with being an out spoken Arab who didn’t suffer fools lightly made them block me from continuing in that program. I put up with so much racism and ignorance in that program. Glad I found a program with open minded instructors wanted to understand my culture.

@arabictype @USATODAY When I was n university I was 1 of 2 Arab students n the graphic design program. We had a guest speaker show us his work I told him that the ح was backwards it bothered me especially since the Roman letters were correctly positioned. The head of faculty didn’t like it.

صحيح ان احترام الوالدين واجب لكن ما استغرب منه في مجتمعنا ان كثير من الاباء يريدون ان يعاملهم ابناءهم باحترام لكنهم اكثر الاحيان لا يعاملون ابناءهم باحترام. كيف تتوقع ان يحترمك ويحترم الاخرين اذا انت لم تبين له انه هو ايضا يستحق الاحترام. الاحترام ليس شيء يفرض انه شيء يتبادل
