He's honestly such a juggernaut once he stabilises with his top-end characters, the healing, reduction and blocking become quite tedious.

I underestimated him, looking like a top 8 deck at least!

Version 3 of the Ace D. Xebec.

Here's the new list. I tweaked it based on the idea that Mihawk will flood OP17.

Ace vs. Mihawk is a very familiar matchup from OP14, so I revisited my notes from OP14. I remembered that we used Vista's Double Attack to answer Mihawk.

I thought, why not adopt the same idea here? But instead of relying solely on Vista, why not add OP16 Newgate to give our Leader Double Attack as well? It's working really well for Red Ace, no reason it shouldn't work on UR Ace too, right?

This should help us not only against Mihawk but also against Rocks.

Because of that, I replaced Zoro with Vista. Zoro was clashing with Shiki anyway, so Vista felt like the better fit.

As for Newgate, I was originally going to add him just for his "My Turn" ability since, looking at the Rocks Pirates package, they don't have 8000-power characters that are usable by Ace (shame Rocks Newgate is leader-locked), but then I realized I can replace some of my 2K counters to fit some 8000-power characters.

Yamato and Otama are great, but Otama isn't searchable and is mainly there to help fix your hand in the early game, while Yamato's effect is somewhat redundant with Luffy.

If I replace them with 8,000-power 2K counters, I can use Newgate's -6,000 Power On-play to remove a threat while still maintaining my counter count.

Seems like a pretty good trade-off to me.

So I picked up Curiel and Kingdew (PANDAMAAAAN!!!).

That gives me 10 cards I can reveal for Newgate's ability.

I'm pretty happy with the list so far, but I'm still testing whether the 2c Luffy that attaches DON!! really needs to be a 4-of, or if I can cut some copies and bring back a few Moby Dick for additional searcher purposes.

Still testing, but Version 3 is looking pretty good so far.

If you test this version, please let me know what you feel. I'd love to hear your thoughts so we can improve this more.

@Crispy_Sushi @Vampyrgaming I mean for Red Ace its better the other one, but for RU ace, op17 newgate and Ace and Luffy this one is better
