Encouraged men to vote Yes for choice on May 25th 2018 - to make Ireland a fairer, kinder, more mature place. And they DID.
Next stop: Northern Ireland.
Everyone's entering a new week exhausted but so, so happy.
We built up so much good energy and organisation in this campaign, and it doesn't have to stop now.

Good common sense legislation on the way. Private religious beliefs shouldn't affect the public's access to medical procedures - and trans men and non-binary people shouldn't be tripped up by language issues in the law.

Great piece by Irish woman @yonderlywagon now living in Argentina on both countries moving towards more progressive abortion laws, and the difference in their respective campaigns. #AbortoLegalYa#freesafelegal

The push continues. Argentina narrowly approves a push for legalisation of abortion - but still some hurdles before it could become legal.

Amazing solidarity from groups up and down the island as the pressure for #NowForNI continues.
When it comes to human rights, #thenorthisnext.

'Devolution is not now nor has it ever been justification for the denial of women's rights. All eyes now on Theresa May. She can either remain complicit in the harm and suffering of women like Sarah, or she can do what her responsibility requires her to do and change the law' https://t.co/G9JB3orMYd
Our joint statement with @All4Choice following this week's emergency debate in the House of Commons on abortion in Northern Ireland. We're urging the government to set a date for the domestic and use bill within the next 150 days. #NowForNI https://t.co/AWNZtUNhDm
If you're still feeling that post-referendum need to help, remember you can donate to @AbortionSupport who help women travelling - still needed for ROI women until legislation, and for NI women until we make #NowForNI happen.
So proud of how the Republic voted last month because it's set such a resounding example for change. What's happening with the #NowForNI movement is a direct result of that. Keep up the pressure!

'It is about freedom, so shout at me all your want - we should not be frightened to speak up for the rights of women. Because to do so is to put womens' lives and liberation at risk.... the truth is in 2018 we still do not trust our own women.' - @stellacreasy#NowForNI
The Republic Of Ireland has set an example, and in the aftermath it's #NowForNI -- to push for an all-island legalisation of abortion.
MPs are meeting today to debate removing a law which is the largest impediment to NI changing its laws.

Good to see the government working on interim solutions for couples who wish to travel due to FFA, while waiting for legislation to pass.

As @stellacreasy said in UK Parliament yesterday, a Westminster vote today does NOT impinge on Northern Ireland's devolved powers. It removes a 150-year-old law from the statute books of all of UK (Britain's legal abortion is merely an exception to that law).
#NowForNI
If you live in the UK or know anyone in the UK it's #NowForNI, please follow this link to contact your MP immediately -- Westminster are meeting TODAY to discuss repealing a law which is the largest impediment to abortion access in NI.

Right pals if you could all email or (better) ring your MPs & ask them to attend todayโs emergency debate on decriminalising abortion. Ring 020 7219 3000 to get the parliamentary switchboard and ask for their office - not a long chat, takes literally one minute! #nowforNI
That'll be a yes, then. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Watch what happened when Commons Speaker John Bercow asked MPs whether they supported @stellacreasy's call for an emergency debate on the abortion law in Northern Ireland.
