Iran continues to attack vessels in the Hormuz Strait. The Joint Maritime Information Center just revealed that 3 commercial ships have been struck recently:

- On August 14th, 2 tankers were hit while passing through the Strait.

- On August 15th, a bulk carrier was struck

Hezbollah violated the ceasefire during the night of August 14–15, when it launched an explosive drone at Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops positioned, in accordance with the Framework Agreement, inside the Yellow Zone in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area (مرتفع علي الطاهر). The explosive drone seriously wounded three IDF soldiers. This was the third explosive drone launched by Hezbollah against IDF forces in this area.

In response to Hezbollah’s violation, the IDF launched strikes against Hezbollah targets. The main strikes were carried out in Ansar (أنصار), Deir al-Zahrani (دير الزهراني), and the Ali al-Taher Ridge area. Six Hezbollah operatives were eliminated in the strikes, including two senior operatives from the Radwan Unit and the Badr Unit.

These positions amount to a direct repudiation of the Comprehensive Plan, jeopardise its implementation, and fundamentally undermine the collective efforts undertaken to achieve a just and lasting peace. Such rejection confirms that Israel now bears responsibility for obstructing the efforts to bring peace in Gaza and the rest of the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

IDF confirms Hezbollah Radwan Force battalion commander Ali Samir Al-Haj Hassan has been ELIMINATED.

The IDF struck a central Radwan Force HQ in the Ansar area of southern Lebanon, killing several other terrorists involved in attacks on IDF soldiers. The strike came after a Hezbollah attack on IDF troops in the Security Zone. Hassan's family, present inside the HQ, was also harmed.

This morning Hezbollah violated the ceasefire in Lebanon by attacking our soldiers in the security zone, which protects Israeli communities just across the border. The Hezbollah attack seriously injured three of our soldiers. The IDF responded by striking the Hezbollah terror headquarters which ordered the attack.

Only later did the IDF learn that Hezbollah deliberately put civilians in that military compound.

Hezbollah is willing to do anything, including using its own civilians as human shields, to falsely accuse Israel of deliberately targeting civilians, which the IDF clearly did not.
