Hey friends, I’m moving to my main Twitter account that I’ve had for years. It’s a lot to keep up with two personas and I’ve been slowly blending coercion content with everything else I do.
Follow me here now >> @natalie
This time last year I was planning a way for my then husband to get help for his coercive behavior… just as he was filing for divorce. Incidentally, it was a few weeks later I had a spontaneous orgasm out of the blue. First one in about 10yrs. I was never the same after that.
@sheilagregoire@SkinnyLunger @MoreCaffeineNow Thank you. But men like this are mostly impotent. It’s why they’re so angry. And by the time they find me, I’ve already had this conversation with a hundred others just like him. He’s fighting. I’m sparring. 😉
@SkinnyLunger @MoreCaffeineNow @sheilagregoire Believe it or not, I don’t hate men, despite having a million reasons to. And I don’t need scripture to back up my words because I’m not standing on the Bible when I speak. I’m speaking to you as a woman to a man, which I suspect is your real issue. I shouldn’t have that right.
@SkinnyLunger @MoreCaffeineNow @sheilagregoire You tell me, this is your assertion. That “biblical” men in charge would somehow make women safe. I have yet to hear any real argument that it isn’t these “real” men doing all the harm in the world. From spousal abuse to pet Ophelia, it seems to be a lot of biblical men
@SkinnyLunger @MoreCaffeineNow @sheilagregoire You haven’t explained hypocrisy. If you want to tell me about how good God is, you need to explain how putting women under the feet of men makes him good. And it starts with not centering your masculinity within the pages of scripture. Start again and pretend you like women.
@SkinnyLunger@sheilagregoire I wouldn’t. Sexual arousal is different for everyone and not everyone is aroused by misogynistic men. It’s totally understandable if you’re not. We have no control over our sexuality.
